Third Climavision radar now online in Louisiana
LOUISVILLE, KY AND CHAUVIN, LA— As hurricane season ramps up in the Gulf Coast, Southern Louisiana communities now have a potentially lifesaving tool looking over the region thanks to Climavision, a climate-tech radar pioneer. The company’s new X-band radar in Chauvin, approximately 40 miles Southwest of New Orleans, closes a decades-old gap in radar coverage impacting more than 100,000 people living in the state’s famous bayou.
